Now then, this looks interesting. Xperience’09, Extreme Sports Festival, weekend of October 24^th and 25^th down at Tynemouth Longsands. Weather permitting presumably? Although… surely a bit of biting northeast rain shouldn’t put this lot off? The events schedule promises BMX, skateboarding and even snowboarding on specially constructed ramps and half pipe doobry’s as well as a surf competition. There’s also live music plus some of that god awful beatboxing nonsense. (Still you can’t have it all I suppose!)

They’re even offering “have a go sessions” in surfing, kite flying, (extreme presumably), mountain boarding (Wha?) and err… beatboxing! Hmm!

Interested to hear from anyone who was there last year… and we will pop down and have a geeble, if we haven’t been pre booked into being free extras, in some low budget cinematic production.
