Now when a web site called The Northern Line comes across a band from the North who are releasing a single called “Northern Man” well, it goes without saying that (1) We’re gonna love it and (2) That we’re gonna tell as many people about it as we can.

The band are DETROIT SOCIAL CLUB who hail not from motor city USA but from Newcastle in the North-East of England. We are going to see them at the SPLIT festival soon so this is simply to tell you about their new single and point you in the direction of youtube so that you can see the video. Then, on Monday the 11th of October you can go out and buy it. Simple stuff, really!!!
