Reverse Image Photography, Landscape Exhibition, Guisborough 01/12/10

Location

If you’re after a colourful antidote to some of the monochrome weather we’re having at the minute, you could do a lot worse than pop down to the Gallery in Guisborough, where Reverse Image Photography, (aka Mr Dave Hudspeth) is hosting an exhibition of his landscape photography.

Dave’s been snapping away professionally for over 30 years, and has completed assignments for a wide variety of clients, from album cover art, to live music photography and portraiture, he even had an 8 by 12 metre image hanging in the ARC in Stockton. The largest image in the North East… as he says “there’s not much I can’t, or won’t do with a camera!”

One of his main passions though, is landscape photography, where he looks for the ever changing moods within the landscape. Early morning mist, frosty lakes and stunning colours best describe his images, although, on more than one occasion the term “romantic” has been used.

Concentrating on getting the image right in the camera, Dave does very little processing, letting natures colours and moods portray the captured view, a man who would much rather have his finger on the shutter, than the mouse!

So if you’re looking for a Christmas present with a difference or you just want to warm your soul and remind yourself of some of the stunning local scenery that is currently blanketed by snow, head on over to, The Gallery in Guisborough, where Dave’s stunning landscape photographs are on display from December the 1st, right through till January 7th.
