Next week-end those wonderful people at THE KIDS ARE SOLID GOLD make their final play for “Gig of the Year 2010” with a superb double bill coming to Middlesbrough and Newcastle. Andy Carr and Phil “Victor Meldrew” Carey have brought us some excellent acts this year but look like surpassing them all with a double bill with extras that will make you think Christmas has come early!!!
On Friday the 10th of December at the Westgarth Social Club on Southfield Road, Middlesbrough they bring you three great acts: Woodenbox with a fistful of fivers, Wahington Irving and Cattle & Cane. The following evening the same three will play The Cluny in Newcastle with the addition of the superb Lake Poets. Tickets are still available but selling like the proverbial hot cakes. Forget the snow, forget saving for Christmas, get yourself to one of these (or both if you can!!!)
