Over the last couple of weeks The Northern Line has been in talks with Yorks premier live music venue Stereo on Gillygate and we are pleased to announce that they have come on board.
The venue was formally known as Certificate 18 and Speakeasy, the venue has always been known as vibrant hub for both live music and club nights. With the event room a modest 120 capacity it’s the perfect size for many local acts as well upcoming touring bands. Bands to have played the venue include Glasvegas, Anti Nowhere League, UK Subs, Howard Marks, Times New Viking, Grammatics and many more.

At the front of the building there is also a spate bar area providing a relaxed vibe with a great selection of drink on offer, including guest ales and special offers.
Going forward we will be running features and live reviews of the bands that are playing.
