Bandstand is pround to announce that Dave Sharp confirms for March’s show, building on Feb’s explosive opener.

Performing on March’s Bandstand alongside some of the regions hottest acts is nationally renound Dave Sharp. Sharp is co-founder and former lead guitar player of 80’s super group The Alarm. Whilst with The Alarm Sharp toured with the likes of Bob Dylan, U2, and Queen. Also racking up numerous UK and US hits. We are hounored and proud that he has chosen to play in Middlesbrough and on Bandstand.

Sharp now performs solo and is firmly established both here and in the US. Since becoming a solo artist Sharp has worked with artists such as Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and recorded with record producer main man Bob Johnston. Sharp says “It is wonderful to see exciting new energy amidst difficult times in the industry”.  

After the success and positive vibrations from Febuary’s opening show, all involved at Bandstand Middlesbrough have knuckled down to make March 5th’s show even better. On the next show as well as Man Of The Century Rick Betamax and his beautiful assistants Peaches & Cream, there will be games, give-aways and more of the finest entertainers in town.
