Rick Betamax and Co. Play their cards right!

 The second big Bandstand show ended on a smoke filled stage with semi-naked male and female revellers combining with an array of top musicians. Taking the evening home with a joint chorus, grand finale of ‘Hit the road Jack’.

 It was hard to tell at times where the stage finished and the audience started. Earlier in the night the introduction of a late night take on the classic ‘Play your cards right’ game broke down any barriers between performers and audience.

 The local music scene has suffered in the recent past from ‘horse shoe’ audience’s and little if no interaction between artist and audience. It all changed in an instant with the help of Rick Betamax and a time old game of ‘higher or lower’

 A combination of hot new local acts The High Horses, Ginogs County, RIkki & The Porters, seasoned rock ‘n’ roller Dave Sharp, DJ’s Emmo, Stiller, Soul Trev, hosts  Rick Betamax with Peaches & Cream and a 300 strong audience bonded together to create a special evening of entertainment.

 Since the first show in Feb Bandstand has taken mini shows to local pubs and clubs with great success. Taking new audiences and business with it. The Fountain in Ormesby has twice been filled and the next stop is The Park End pub on Friday 11^th.

 The next big show is in The Crown on April 2^nd. More information to be released soon.
