AND FINALLY…..

At the August concerts in England, The Wedding Present will be playing their cover version of “Make Me Smile (Come Up And See Me)” which was originally released by Steve Harley And Cockney Rebel in 1975.

Harley himself says: “There are 120 cover versions of Make Me Smile, but only The Wedding Present have done it differently. They did a punk version and made it kick. They understood the venom in the lyrics.”

David Gedge adds: “I’m pleased that Steve Harley likes our version because Cockney Rebel’s ‘The Psychomodo’ was the first LP I ever bought!”
