With e-mails, texts, twitter etc it means we get less and less in the post. So it was with a bit of glee in my heart that I received a package from the postman full of posters and flyers for this years Deer Shed Festival. Bright blue with a nod to Monsters Inc they are very eye catching. But not nearly as eye catching as the line up at this years festival. Villagers, Saint Etienne, Cherry Ghost, Los Campesinos!, Field Music, School of Seven Bells, Beth Jeans Houghton & the Hooves of Destiny etc etc etc. The Deer Shed was our favourite festival in 2011 and it’s looking like 2012 will be no different. A real family affair in glorious surroundings. Tickets at reasonable prices and a line up that caters for all tastes. If you haven’t booked your tickets then you really ought to. Who are we looking forward to seeing? All of the above as well as a number of Northern Line favourites; Washington Irving, Woodenbox with a fistfull of fivers, Dutch Uncles, Treetop Flyers, Sam Airey…….
