Friday 13 September

Twisted Wheel This gobby indie trio have been one of Manchester’s most hotly-tipped bands since rocking a packed crowd as support for Oasis’ mammoth Heaton Park gig.“It’s punk, it’s garage, it’s indie, it’s mod, it’s rock n roll, it’s alternative, but more importantly it’s refreshingly unique and undoubtedly sublime.” Mudkiss

Saturday 14 September

Seven-piece Hip Hop band Lazy Habits blast their sound into the 21st Century with hard hitting beats and slick lyrics about modern British culture and urban life. Their colossal on-stage energy will keep you buzzing long after you’ve left the festival. “One of the most exciting acts to come out of London in some time.” Mixmag

Walk Manchester based sequencer blues duo Rik Warren (Ernie’s Rhythm Section, Noon and The Halelujah Whip) and David Schlechtriemen (Driver Drive Faster, The Miserable Rich, Honeyfeet) are warping the blues into the future with 21st century gadgetry.

My Darling Clementine Classic country duo featuring Michael Weston King (ex-The Good Sons) and Lou Dalgleish. “If anything is going to make country music hip again, this is it” Maverick Magazine

Sunday 15 September

Chasing Owls Edinburgh folk-pop band, with plenty of BBC Radio 6 airplay, big hits at NME Weekender and Celtic Connections. “Beautiful heartfelt vocals with soul enriching harmonies.” Absolute Radio

Winter Mountain Fantastic Irish/Cornish duo whose sixties-style harmony-pop is reminiscent of Simon and Garfunkel or Crosby, Stills and Nash. Their debut EP Find, Follow was released on Charcoal Records in May.

Gordie MacKeeman and his Rhythm Boys This Canadian quartet serve up old-time roots music with an energy level that practically yanks you to your feet. “Man for man there may not be a better roots band playing in Canada today.” Montreal Folk Festival

Luke Jackson A rising eighteen year old roots singer/songwriter from Canterbury with a bold, show stopping voice, Luke was recently nominated for the Radio 2 Horizon Award for Best Emerging Talent. “A fantastic voice… a terrific new album” Simon Mayo, BBC Radio 2
