50 More Names Added To Leeds 2014 Lineup

Location

Fresh out of Leeds (and, we suppose, Reading) is the news that 50 more massive acts have been added to this year’s festival lineup, which is looking like its strongest ever.

Leeds is one of the north’s biggest dates on the festival calendar, and alongside the four main stage headliners, Queens Of The Stone Age, Paramore, Arctic Monkeys and Blink-182, it’s also hosting a ton of acts across the four days on its BBC/NME stage, dance stage, lock up stage, festival republic stage and BBC 1extra stage.

Perennial Northernline favourites on the bill include Bombay Bicycle Club, Palma Violets, RÜFÜS, Dry the River and Leeds locals The Sunshine Underground, although you’re guaranteed to find something in the lineup that will float your boat whether you’re part of the punk and rock crowd, a cutting edge electronica aficionado, or one of those hiphop/urban/grime sceners.

Yes, we’re talking about you. You know who you are.

To be honest, we can’t think of a better way to spend the August Bank Holiday weekend. Well, actually, we can. But we’d probably be arrested within minutes even just for thinking about it.

Go read more about the fest which runs from 22-24 August 2014, check out the ever-expanding lineup, and buy your tickets now at the Leeds Festival site.
