Christmas In The Boro……

It’s almost that time of year again. You know, the time for presents, eating too much, Santa Claus, drinking, snow, reindeers and the birth of our saviour. And time to get out your glad rags and get on down to lots and lots of great gigs in the Boro this festive season…..
The fun is spread around the Empire, the Town Hall and the Westgarth. Something for everyone and a fun filled time to behold.

THE EMPIRE

THE TOWN HALL

Loads on at the Town Hall with comedians like Frank Skinner, Jason Byrne and Jimmy Carr. Music such as UB40 and Elkie Brooks. Two gigs that have caught our eye here at the Northern Line;

MONDAY 22nd DEC Local heroes YOUNG REBEL SET host their usual Christmas party

THE WESTGARTH

Following the superb Twisterella festival the Kids are Solid Gold have a few more gems up their sleeve before the end of the year. The return of Sheffield’s finest The Crookes and Leed’s own Matthew & Me. They also have gigs up at the Head of Steam and the Cluny in Newcastle. Check their site for all the details.
