CATTLE & CANE – NEWS

Cattle & Cane’s lead single Skies, taken from their forthcoming debut album, Home, is out today and available to view here.

Cattle & Cane follow the release of ‘Come Home’ in June with a further track taken from their debut album ‘Home’ (September 2015). ‘Skies’ is another slice of perfect harmonic pop from the Middlesbrough five piece replete with a chorus set to earworm its way into the national consciousness.

With support for ‘Come Home’ from the likes of Janice Long, Dermot O’Leary, Amazing Radio and a video premier for ‘Come Home’ on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, Cattle & Cane look set to make good on the predictions that 2015 will be their breakthrough year. Having been tipped following standout performances at T In The Park and Liverpool Sound City, the band, comprised of singers Joseph and Helen alongside brothers Fran and Vin and non family member Tom, have already found themselves in the odd position of being local heroes in their home town, a status emphasized by their forthcoming headline show at the town’s 1000 capacity Teesside University on September 18th to celebrate the album release.

The band emphasized their local pride with support for Middlesbrough FC’s play-off run with a new version of Stevie Wonder’s ‘Isn’t He Lovely’ dedicated to left back George Friend, clocking up over 100,000 YouTube views along the way and collaborated with the Olde Yougn Tea House in the town to create a special Cattle and Cane tea which will be available to buy at all tour dates.
