As it’s the summer holidays and I have more time on my hands than I know what to do with I thought I would catch up on bits n bobs that we’ve missed in the past. Todays theme is Art. What is or isn’t art? You decide!!!

Our second piece of art comes courtesy of a local poet who sent The Northern Line this little ditty inspired by a trip to the Pavilion in Thornaby. Not very complimentary but we liked it nonetheless……

“The boy with the Thornaby in his side….”

Fat lasses,
with taches,
Greggs pasties,
false eyelashes.
Pushing prams,
ladened with bags,
smoking fags.
Weedy fella,
cans of Stella,
gold that’s plastic.
CHAVTASTIC!!!!
