Last years Rammy Festival was good and here at The Northernline we thought they’d never get a better line up than last year’s (headliners then were The Inspiral Carpets, I am Kloot and Roddy Frame) but this year its even better.

We’re very excited to announce the first batch of artists confirmed for Ramsbottom Festival 2013.

FRIDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER

Completely distinctive and occasionally mad, The Futureheads kick off the first night of the Festival, joined by the innovative and unique Public Service Broadcasting, who released their debut album INFORM – EDUCATE – ENTERTAIN earlier this month.  

SATURDAY 14TH SEPTEMBER

Saturday’s action packed line up features BRIT Award nominee and superb guitarist Richard Hawley, Swedish singer/songwriter José González’ trio Junip and ska fusion legends The Beat – “Who needs the brave new world when the old school is still this good?” – Sunday Mirror.

SUNDAY 15TH SEPTEMBER

The Festival comes to an exhilarating close with Grammy Award winner Sinéad O’Connor, the most innovative and critically acclaimed folk band in modern history, The Unthanks and American Delta blues trio Moreland and Arbuckle, who have toured with the likes of ZZ Top, George Thorogood and Jonny Lang.

ALL ROUND ENTERTAINMENT

As well as our fantastic Main Stage lineup, the festival will again feature our Ladybird Stage with the best up-and-coming acts, T’other Stage, sponsored by Ramsbottom’s A&L Music and an all day Silent Disco. We’re also planning a fun-filled array of activities for all ages including craft and music workshops and a funfair as well as a real ale tent and a fine selection of scrumptious food.
