Super group Danny & The Champions of the World make their way to Stockton on Thur 11 Nov, as part of their short, but very sweet, November UK tour.

The new slimmed down version of  The Champs head out on tour after rapturous receptions opening for The Magic Numbers. You can still expect all the same soaring vocals and foot stomping tunes that the band are famous for.

Now touring with their second critically acclaimed album Streets of Our Time, the band recently entertained the masses at Middlesbrough Music Live and went down a storm with their rambling and rousing tunes.

Danny and the Champs are a collaboration of  musical chums culled and collated from The Brakes, Electric Soft Parade and Goldrush, all brought together by Grand Drive’s Danny George Wilson.

With up beat tunes and sweeping vocals the band have garnered praise from high and low, being compared to everyone from “Dylan and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young” (Mojo) to “Ryan Adams, Mark Olson, Bruce Springsteen” (The Times) and being herald by Q Magazine as “The real thing – they are the champions”
