Yes folks you read that right, Roddy is coming to Harrogate theatre!
Familiar to thousands of music fans as the front man in Scottish rock band Idlewild, Roddy Woomble is also a celebrated solo songwriter and performer. In 2006 his solo debut album My Secret is My Silence won rave reviews across both the rock and the folk press. He went on to record a second album Before the Ruin with Kris Drever and John McCusker, which was released in 2008. This spring Roddy released his new album The Impossible Song & Other Songs, recorded on the isle of Mull and produced by John McCusker.

On this tour he draws on songs from the new album, along with tunes from his two previous albums, and several Idlewild numbers.

This is a show not to be missed and with support from Chris Helme (once the singer in John Squire’s The Seahorses) it promises to be yet another memorable gig at the theatre.
