The Empire in Middlesbrough has again come up trumps. This time they have a legend from the 80s; Stuart Goddard. Never heard of him? Well maybe if we said Adam Ant you might be a bit more excited. Now for a 2 to 3 year period in the early 80s Adam and his Ants were the biggest thing in the country. Their second album “Kings of the Wild Frontier” was an absolute classic. Everyone loved him. He had number 1 hits, best selling albums, front cover of every magazine and then, and then, he was gone. Well he is back and it looks to be a great night. Expect loads of hits, loads of bad hair cuts and loads of people trying to re-live their youth. But also expect loads of fun and some real top tunes. In a career spanning more than 35 years Adam Ant has had ten top 10 singles with his band Adam and the Ants and also as a solo artist with 3 reaching the number 1 position in the UK .
With hundreds of shows performed in the UK since 1977, Adam has also toured extensively throughout the United States , mainland Europe, Australia and Japan .
Throughout the 80s and 90s Adam took up acting on the stage (Entertaining Mr Sloane & Greek), TV (The Equalizer, Tales from the Crypt& Northern Exposure) and also film (Love Bites, Slam Dance & Nomads) whilst still writing and producing music.
With 8 albums behind him Adam has just completed two successful UK tours is currently lining up dates for a new tour.
